Twenty years ago, a simple idea was born: to build a different kind of company. A place where talent could grow with freedom, conviction, and purpose.

It all began in 2006, when the company’s name was first sketched on a napkin. More than just a name, it marked the beginning of a vision. Vantrust started in a 28-square-meter office in downtown Santiago, with a team of six and a single business line focused on foreign exchange. We may have started small, but our ambition was clear: to build something solid, close to our clients, and designed for the long term.

Over the years, the company grew, expanded into new business lines, and built a team united by a shared vision.

Today, 20 years later, we are a team of more than 160 people, operating across four business lines with a presence in three countries. What began as a small operation has grown into Vantrust Capital, with the capabilities to originate, manage, and distribute investment solutions and opportunities across markets.

Looking ahead, our ambition is to continue growing and establish Vantrust as a leading player in the markets where we operate, expanding access to a broad and flexible range of high-quality investment opportunities. At the same time, we believe our role extends beyond financial performance: we want to build a company with purpose; one that stays close to people and makes a positive contribution to Chile and the broader region.
