IPSA Nears 11,000 Points in Session Prior to the Start of Corporate Earnings

The Santiago Stock Exchange continued its recovery this Tuesday. The IPSA rose 0.6% to 10,991.27 points, led by SQM-B, which posted a 3.2% increase.

Following the non-metallic mining company were Colbún, whose stock expanded 2.7%; Bci rose 2.4%, and Enel Chile grew 1.8%.

“The companies’ fundamentals remain intact, and although valuations are higher after the 2025 rally, they continue to be attractive from a historical perspective. Currently, the IPSA is trading at approximately 13.8 times its projected 12-month earnings, a discount of nearly 15% compared to the average multiple prior to 2019,” commented Fernando Santibáñez, investment analyst at Vantrust Capital.

This was also the day before the release of earnings reports from IPSA companies, as CCU, Mallplaza, and Falabella published their fourth-quarter 2025 figures after the close (see pages 6 and 8).
